What is Faith Journey?

Faith Journey is a web and mobile app that provides students with a secure, digital, and private album that captures moments in the school day that help shape their faith. These ‘footprints’ come out of faith intersections, such as seeing God’s role in a science activity or finding spiritual themes in a literature lesson.

At any time, students are able to look back and REMEMBER these moments. Students are able to put REFLECTIONS in their albums. Parents can see first-hand the EVIDENCE of how their child’s faith is being strengthened through your school.

REMEMBERING faith connections

    Creates an online album of MEMORIES and experiences that children can look at to see God’s impact in their lives and His faithfulness over the years. Watch a Short Video

    Engages parents with how the mission is being carried out for their individual child, not just at the whole school or classroom level (like social media posts).

    Activates Biblical principles of remembering. Throughout the Bible, God asks us to remember His faithfulness.  Faith Journey is a digital representation of God’s intentions for your students.

REFLECTING on personal connections

    Engages students to think deeply with reflecting after chapel presentations, service projects, or other activities.  John Dewey says, “Students don’t learn from experiences, they learn from reflecting on experiences.”

    Adds “Stickiness” to lesson learning targets.  Student will remember lesson objectives longer if they are able to reflect.

    Delivers metacognitive strategies to faith connections in lessons. Research-based pedagogy for maximum faith impact.

Showing EVIDENCE of spiritual connections

    Allows teachers and parents to communicate and connect about a child’s individual faith journey.  When parents are trying to decide if the tuition costs are worth it, they can go to their children’s album to see how God is moving in their child’s life.  Faith Journey helps with retention.
